A typical Legends event is split over a morning practice session followed by two heats of 8-10 laps and a feature/final race. The grid positions for the first heat are drawn from a ballot and the grid for the second heat are reversed so if a driver draws pole position for the first heat that driver will take up the back of the grid in the second heat. The points accrued for the first two heats by each driver will determine the grid positions for the feature race with the highest point’s scorers of the day starting at the back of the field and the lowest at the front. The feature race is 3-4 laps longer than the heats.

This format is designed to provide maximum entertainment and exciting racing for driver and spectator alike. The reverse grid format encourages overtaking as the quickest drivers compete to get to the front of the pack! At the same time, this gives the less experienced drivers an opportunity to lead the pack and learn their craft. Each driver races three times during the course of the meeting, scoring points according to finishing positions in each race. The points are totalled at the end of the meeting to determine that meeting's winners and added to the championship totals.

Each race meeting will culminate with a Podium award ceremony and customary photo opportunities!
